What is c0c0n CTF?
The c0c0n CTF is an online Capture The Flag (CTF) competition that challenges participants with a variety of hacking and security challenges, tasks. It's a great opportunity to test and improve your hacking skills in a fun and competitive environment.
Is this an online event?
Yes, this is a fully online competition. Participants can join us from anywhere in the world and do not need to be physically present at the c0c0n conference venue to participate.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to anyone with an interest in cyber security, from students and hobbyists to seasoned professionals. You can participate as an individual or as part of a team, but only one person from the team will be eligible for the prizes.
Registration and Dates
When does registration open?
Registration for the c0c0n CTF will open on 1st September, 2025 at 10 AM IST.
What are the competition dates and duration?
The competition will take place from 12th September to 13th September. It will run for a total of 24 hours. Please check the official schedule for specific start and end times in your local timezone.
Competition Rules
What are the rules of the CTF?
To ensure a fair and fun competition for everyone, please adhere to the following rules:
- Flag Submission: Submit flags in the correct format as soon as you find them. Flag hoarding is not allowed.
- No External Help: Do not share flags, solutions, or hints with other teams. Collaboration is strictly limited to members of your own team.
- No Attacks against CTF Scoreboard Infra and c0c0n root website: Do not perform any attacks (e.g., DoS, brute force) against the CTF infrastructure, organizers, or other competitors.
- Code of conduct: Play ethically and be respectful to fellow participants and the organizers. Any unfair play will lead to disqualification. No harassments of any kind.

Scoring and Prizes
How is scoring calculated?
The CTF will use a dynamic scoring system where points for a challenge decrease as more teams solve it. The final score will be based on the total points earned by each team/individual.
